PGA Professionals

Based at Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club between Dover and Deal in Kent, we offer club members and non-members a superb range of golfing products and expert tuition.

The James Braid designed course and club has been here for over a hundred years providing golfers with a highly playable and challenging experience in a dramatic location on top of the White Cliffs of Dover. Helping anyone, including non-members, to get as much out of the course and the game as possible, the PGA Professionals at Teachgolf combine experience, great products and the latest technology into an all round good experience you will never find on the High Street!

New players often wonder just what a PGA Golf Professional is. The PGA are perhaps best known for organising golf championships, but one of their most important roles is qualifying professionals; passionate and experienced players who want to help others get the most from their game. Once a handicap of 3 or better is achieved as well as employment at a golf club or driving range they you can undertake a range of PGA training in teaching, repairing golf clubs and understanding golf psychology to become PGA qualified, and that learning process keeps on going as we often take courses to learn about new developments or develop speciality knowledge in subjects like sports science.
